The Colouring Positive Energy’ programme is an innovative public mural programme implemented under the sponsorship of Amita Motion. Two big vertical murals and one horizontal pictorial composition were realised on downtown buildings’ walls, at 58 Ilia Iliou avenue, 77 Lenorman street and on the wall of Panellinios G.S. on Evelpidon street. The big murals were realised by Urbanact and the renown street artist Same84 with the cooperation of the Athens Municipality. The pictorial composition was created by five young artists whose works were distinguished in the framework of a competition organised in collaboration with public and private Schools of Visual and Applied Art. The murals have visually transformed three central locations in Athens, inspiring its citizens to adopt an optimistic attitude. Sympraxis Team has undertaken the planning and coordination of this activity, as well as the development of the programme’s promotional and communication tools.
