Henkel Consumer Brands and Dixan, on the occasion of the International Day against School Bullying, presented on 6 March 2024 the “Fair Play” programme, with the aim of highlighting, but also of intervening through education, the social issue of childhood bullying. The event was graced by the presence of Mr. George Mavrotas, Secretary General of Sport, and Ms. Stratigoula Vamvali, Marketing & Trade Director Greece & Cyprus, Henkel Consumer Brands. During the event, a discussion took place on the ways in which social bullying manifests itself, the educational interventions to eliminate it, as well as on the highlighting of the social value of sports. Also participating in the discussion were Mr. Takis Fyssas, former international footballer and sports director of the Men’s National Football Team, and Mr. Ilias Karapiperis, founder of the “Winners” Football Academy and Winners Coaching, who highlighted ways in which bullying manifests itself, but also the social responsibility of football. The discussion was moderated by the journalist Apostolis Lambos. The aim of the programme is to promote the principles of fair play and strengthen self-confidence and self-esteem in children, leveraging sports, and in particular the popular sport of football. Sympraxis has undertaken the planning, organisation and implementation of the event and of the programme that will be implemented in sports academies throughout the country.
