The project “National Meeting of Young Wildlife Correspondents” hosted by ANIMA, the Association for the Protection and Welfare of Wildlife, was concluded with the report on the Conference. The project was implemented in the framework of the Youth and Lifelong Learning Foundation “Youth in Action” programme. The Conference was held on October 5, 6 and 7, 2012 with the participation of 17 speakers and 62 youngsters from around the country for the purpose of developing the “Young Wildlife Correspondent” concept and implementing young volunteer structures at local level for the protection of biodiversity. The Sympraxis Team undertook, on behalf of ANIMA, to submit the proposal, organise, promote and communicate the Program. In the meantime, extensive information material (both printed and electronic) was produced on the protection and welfare of wildlife, including a poster, printed material indicating the actions of environmental NGOs involved with biodiversity, and a DVD of a seminar on First Aid for wild animals.
