Alexandros Deliyiannis, partner at Sympraxis Team and the Hellenic Institute for Effective Dialogue, presented the critical aspects for transforming volunteerism at the conference Volunteerism 2030: Institutions, Society, and Democratic Resilience.

The event, organized by the Region of Attica and the Municipality of Piraeus at the PPA Conference Center, highlighted the urgent need for a national strategy. Through 8 panels and over 30 speakers, the conclusion was clear: the transition from isolated actions requires institutional backing, measurable targets, and operational readiness.

In his presentation entitled “Dialogue between civil society and businesses: a prerequisite for meaningful corporate volunteerism,” Mr. Deliyiannis emphasized that structured dialogue is the only “key” to effectively linking corporate social responsibility with the real needs of society.
