On 1 and 2 December 2017, more than 500 people, secondary school teachers, faculty members and students participated in the two-day conference titled “The Greek School today: the School of Philosophy discusses and proposes“. The conference was organised by the Deanship of the School of Philosophy of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in the framework of the celebration of the 180 years of operation of the School of Philosophy. The opening of the conference took place in the Great Hall of the central building of the NKUA with the participation of the Rector of the University, the Dean and prestigious professors. The conference proceedings continued on 2/12 at the building of the School of Philosophy at the Campus, where about 30 parallel speeches were held on a variety of interesting themes.
