The Sympraxis Team undertook publicity and dissemination of the “SPATA ENERGY CONSERVATION” project results with networking, information and event organisation actions. The project is implemented by the Municipality of Spata in an attempt to reduce energy costs for the operation of municipal and school buildings and facilities, and it includes integrated energy-related building refurbishment and energy conservation measures. Various actions for people of all ages are included in the project. In particular, an activity addressed to the Municipality’s Primary School children attracted a lot of attention and interest. The narrator, Evi Gerokosta, using tales from numerous parts of the world, prepared a special narrative for the children, illustrating in a very simple way the significance of conserving energy and, generally, protecting the environment. The project concluded in June 2015.
