“Upgrading the school environment is a determining factor in upgrading the teaching process,” Athens Mayor, Giorgos Kaminis stressed at the post-renovation opening of the 17th High school and Lyceum in Pagrati, underlining with his presence the necessity of cooperation between the State and the private sector and universities for the benefit of education. Over the summer, the renovation project was supported by the Sympraxis Team, in the framework of the Coca-Cola 3E program “The School you want”, which is implemented in Thessaloniki and Athens in cooperation with the Municipalities, the Polytechnic of Crete and the University of Chicago. The interventions implemented in the schools through the program respect both children and educators by reinforcing the teaching process in a safe, pleasant and creative environment.
