The European Union co-funded project QUΑLICHeCK started on 1 March. The project deals with the improvement of energy performance of buildings, by promoting better quality of the works and compliance with relevant European or national regulations. Sympraxis Team has undertaken, in cooperation with INIVE, the coordination of the project, and is also leading the communication, outreach and engagement activities. The first working meeting took place on 24 April and all activities are currently progressing. A first International Conference under QUALICHeCK will take place on 30 September in Brussels. The QUALICHeCK project proposal, which was submitted by INIVE with the direct collaboration of Sympraxis Team, was one of the 547 proposals submitted in the framework of the IEE Call for Proposals 2013, from which only 60 were positively evaluated for funding.
