Production of the 2012 book reviewing the implementation of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (Concerted Action EPBD Book).

The book “Implementing the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) – Featuring Country Reports 2012” was successfully launched during the Concerted Action EPBD stakeholders’ meeting on June 28 in Brussels. The book was officially delivered to the European Commission by Mr. Fergus O’Dowd, Minister of State, Department of the Environment, Community and Local Government of Ireland, who represented the European Union Presidency. The Sympraxis Team undertook the language review and production of the 2012 edition within the framework of the communication support provided to the Concerted Action EPBD. The book presents the progress of implementation of the European Energy Performance for Buildings Directive (EPBD) in 7 thematic areas and 29 national reports, including qualitative and quantitative data, and specific emphasis, among others,oin the completion of national plans for increasing the number of Nearly Zero-Energy Buildings. The book is also available in electronic form via the Concerted Action EPBD website.
