With its 1st Uniform Sustainable Development Report for 2020, PAPASTRATOS turns a new page in the integrated information of its stakeholders regarding the Company’s activities and goals, as well as the integration of the ESG criteria for Environment, Society, and Governance into its operation and the decisions it makes, envisioning a smoke-free world. The 1st Uniform Sustainable Development Report reflects the Company’s crucial decision to radically reform its operation and transform itself from a tobacco industry into a technology company, producing exclusively innovative tobacco products of potentially reduced risk. At the same time, the Report reflects the consistent effort of PAPASTRATOS, one of the largest and historic companies in the country, to respond to the urgent request of the Greek society to offer more. Sympraxis Team, together with KKS Advisors, proudly supported PAPASTRATOS in this journey of data collection, the process of recognising the essential issues for the Company, and the elaboration of the Report around 5 key pillars. This is a milestone in the implementation of the Company’s strategy for sustainable development, announced in the summer of 2020, on the 90th anniversary of PAPASTRATOS operation. The Report presents the Company’s sustainable development strategy with clear, measurable implementation goals and performance indicators (KPIs) per pillar, records financial and quantitative data, while presenting with respect, responsibility and transparency, and equally detailed, the Company’s actions for the implementation of its commitment towards the  Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations, following the standards and guidelines of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI Standards).
