The Integrated Sustainable Development Report emphasises on the creation of value for society, employees and the environment, and presents the #prostokalytero actions of the Papastratos company for 2021. Through the 2nd Integrated Sustainable Development Report, Papastratos aims to analytically depict –with clear and measurable implementation goals and performance indicators (KPIs)– the  performance of its business strategy and operation in matters of Environment, Society and Corporate Governance (ESG). Actions for the Economy, which include a total investment of more than €500 million in Greece in the last five years, €1 billion in annual contributions to the state treasury and 83% of the company’s production being exported. Actions for the society, reflecting the company’s commitment to innovation through alternative products that now account for 65% of its net revenue and 88% of its total commercial expenditure Actions for boosting employment, with the creation of 185 new jobs, and for the development and evolving of its employees, including 93,000 hours of training in cutting-edge technologies and new systems. Actions for the environment, with a neutral balance of carbon dioxide achieved for the company’s factory in Aspropyrgos, turning it into carbon neutral, as well as with the factory’s zero (0%) waste deposit in a landfill. At the same time, the Report received, for the first time, external assurance from an independent body, namely, the Inspection, Certification and Training Body TÜVHELLAS (TÜVNORD) S.A., in order to confirm that the Report was elaborated in accordance (“In Accordance”) with the GRI Universal Sustainability Reporting Guidelines Standards 2021.
