Nova continues to play a dynamic role in the conservation and protection of the environment in an area that has been repeatedly affected by fires of great intensity and extent. Building on the important reforestation project that the company has implemented on a burned area of 70,000 square meters around the Monastery by planting 5,400 trees, it continues to support the project with volunteering activities. In September 2025, focusing on increasing the impact and the preservation and survival of the reforested areas, NOVA carried out a volunteering action in the surroundings of the Holy Monastery. More than 40 volunteers, employees of the company, along with their families, took care of the newly planted saplings, pruning, fertilising and watering them. This voluntary act of responsibility was of great importance for the survival of the trees, especially after another hot and dry summer. Also, the fairly small number of trees that did not manage to survive was replaced by new ones. Sympraxis, with its scientific team, has undertaken the planning and implementation of the reforestation and volunteering activities on behalf of Nova.
