DISCUSSING WITH THE EUROPEAN COMMISSIONER ABOUT THE SEA AND THE ENVIRONMENT

On 16 February, in the unusually snow-covered Athens, Virginijus Sinkevičius, the European Commissioner for Environment, Oceans and Fisheries, participated in the Citizens’ Dialogues initiative, discussing online with 13 Greek citizens from the field of environment on the subject titled “the Green Deal, challenges and opportunities for our seas and environment”. The event was coordinated by Katerina Cristofilidou, journalist / Environmental Editor of the Hellenic Public Television. Sympraxis Team organised this lively and very interesting hybrid dialogue, on behalf of the European Commission Representation in Greece.
