Sympraxis Team, as a partner of the European Horizon 2020 BuiltHub project, was in Wels, Austria, on 28 February 2023, firstly to attend the internal meeting with the project partners and on 3 March 2023 for the project’s participation in the World Sustainable Energy Days (WSED) through the workshop it implemented.

The annual WSED conference is a leading event on energy transition and climate neutrality with more than 650 participants from 60 countries, including energy companies, service providers, planners, developers, energy research community and representatives from public bodies. The workshop organised by BuiltHub partners was entitled, “Addressing the energy crisis through data sharing” and focused on how we can help data-sharing communities accelerate the transformation of Europe’s building stock. The panel discussion covered questions such as: “if something positive can be taken from the current energy crisis – can this be a turning point towards a cleaner and more energy secure future” and “how can we maximise the value of an increasing amount of data to develop smart and innovative building services”.
