The Sympraxis Team organised and supported for the fourth time the European BUILD UP Skills exchange meeting on behalf of and in collaboration with the European Executive Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation (EACI). The BUILD UP Skills initiative aims to improve the qualifications and skills of construction workers throughout Europe, in order to enable them to fulfill the upgraded requirements for energy-efficient buildings, particularly buildings with nearly zero-energy consumption. Representatives from 30 European countries attended the three-day meeting which was held in Vienna. These countries participate in Pillar Ι “National qualification platforms and roadmaps to 2020” of the BUILD UP Skills initiative. The 5th meeting was held in November 2013 in Brussels with the participation of 24 European countries and over 60 representatives.
