During the Horizon 2020 oPEN Lab project’s two days’ meeting and site visit in Genk and Leuven, we had the chance to dive deep into the achievements but also the lessons learnt from implementing each one of the three Living Labs in Pamplona, Genk and Tartu, and discuss the future of Positive Energy Neighbourhoods. The recurrent take away from the discussions is the importance of positioning the citizen in the frontline of related actions!

Many thanks go to all the oPEN Lab partners contributing their part in making the energy just transition a reality! Special thanks to the oPEN Lab Genk partners and especially VITO, EnergyVille and KU Leuven for hosting the events! It is such an inspiration for us to be part of the oPEN Lab Coordination Team next to VITO!
