The National Meeting on Sustainable Production for Young People was held on September 27, 28 and 29 at the Organisation Earth facilities with the active participation of 50 youngsters from around the country, ages 18 to 30, as well as the participation of experts from the sustainable agriculture sector, and of Ministry of Rural Development and Food officials. Participants were informed of the contemporary rural development policies at local, national and European level, and of good agricultural practices. They presented their personal experience and proposals for the development of sustainable agriculture, aiming to highlight the country’s agricultural sector capabilities and business prospects. The meeting was held in the framework of the “Youth in Action” European programme, sponsored by the Youth and Lifelong Learning Foundation. The Sympraxis Team undertook, on account of Organisation Earth, to submit the proposal, organise, promote and communicate the project, as well as to draft the report on the Meeting.
