The second year of Dixan’s educational programme “Fair Play” was completed with two actions at the “Maroussi City” and “Loutraki Sports Club (AOL)” football academies. In October, the programme was implemented at the “Maroussi City” football academy, with the participation of 49 children, 46 parents/guardians and 4 coaches. The children had the opportunity to share their experiences about being bullied, either their own or their friends’, and to discuss in depth with the trainers about their feelings and the actions they took. The coaches had the opportunity to share their personal experiences, building stronger bonds of communication and trust with the children. In December, the last action of the two-year programme was held at the “Loutraki Sports Club” football academy, in which 57 children, 41 parents/guardians and 3 coaches were trained. It is worth noting that in the parents’ workshop there was intense interaction with the speakers, as well as open and honest communication with them. The parents and guardians shared their personal experiences and the way they managed them, expressed their concerns and questions about bullying and stressed their need for such programmes. The workshop was concluded in an atmosphere of emotion and gratitude for its substantial impact on the children. The programme was designed and implemented by Sympraxis with the support of their scientific partner W-inner Coaching.
