In a time when societies, businesses and institutions stand -both literally and figuratively- at a crossroads of challenges and choices, the 3rd Effective Dialogue @ the Crossroads Conference, organized by Sympraxis and the Hellenic Institute for Effective Dialogue on November 6, 2025, at the Stelios Foundation Conference Hall in Plaka, highlighted the crucial role of meaningful dialogue in informed decision-making for sustainability, social cohesion and corporate responsibility.

More than 200 participants and 50 speakers -business executives, institutional representatives, government officials, academics and civil society organizations- took part in a full-day event featuring ten thematic panels and keynote speeches, reaffirming that information, transparency and collaboration are the cornerstones of progress and trust.

The Conference concluded with the Contribution Recognition Ceremony, which honored organizations for their longstanding work and commitment to society and the environment. Among the award recipients were the Ecumenical Patriarchate, Hellas Gold, ARCHELON, the Network for the Support of Imprisoned and Released Women, and the Association of Parents, Guardians and Friends of People with Autism of Rethymno.

The 3rd Effective Dialogue @ the Crossroads Conference confirmed that accurate information leads to the right decisions, and that dialogue -when sincere, inclusive and grounded in scientific knowledge- can become a powerful driver of change, development and trust. In a period marked by multiple crises, Effective Dialogue remains a point of reference for those who believe that communication is not merely a tool, but an act of responsibility and collective maturity.
