Iliopoulos is Ph.D. candidate at the School of Mining and Metallurgical Engineering, National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). He holds a Master of Science in Applied Environmental Geology with a postgraduate diploma in Financial Analysis from the Department of Shipping of the University of Piraeus. He is certified ESG &amp; Impact Investing Analyst from the Frankfurt School of Finance. Vasilis has a background in scientific research related to climate change impacts, focusing on geochemical, hydrogeological, and climatological data analysis for quantitative and qualitative variations in the hydrological regions of the Greece. He was a scientific member of the Climate Change Impacts Study Committee (CCISC) research team at the Bank of Greece from 2009 to 2011. In his doctoral research, Vasilis has developed a scientific approach to assess sustainable management policies of natural resources through the analysis of ecosystem services. He has authored three scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented three scientific papers at conferences. From 2013 to 2019, Vasilis worked at the Athens Water Supply and Sewerage Company (EYDAP) in the Procurements Department\u00a0 of the General Economic Directorate and at the Laboratory of Inorganic Chemistry of the Water Quality Department. He participated as a project consultant in various hydrogeological studies.In recent years, Vasilis has worked as a Project Coordinator in waste management projects at the Polyeco Group, focusing on zero waste initiatives and waste-to-energy projects in the hotel and health industries. He also served as a Project Coordinator and Sustainability Expert in sustainability and material engineering projects for the European Commission in Belgian consulting firm, overseeing various programs related to sustainable manufacture, waste to energy and circular economy practices.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ESG &amp; Sustainability Consultant Vasilis G.
