In its first year, iBRoad2EPC has reviewed relevant resources and conceived the full concept of a tool which merges elements of the Building Renovation Passport into the Energy Performance Certificate. The aim is to facilitate the deep renovation of a critical mass of buildings to reach the EU\u2019s climate objectives. First IT developments were presented and discussed with project partners in preparation of the national strategies for roll-out and of consultation meetings with key stakeholders in the six implementing countries Bulgaria, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain and Greece. Major events like the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eceee.org\/summerstudy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">eceee Summer Study<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/sustainable-energy-week.ec.europa.eu\/index_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EUSEW<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sustainableplaces.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sustainable Places<\/a> have hosted relevant presentations, sessions or interventions by iBRoad2EPC, often in conjunction with the Next Generation EPCs cluster of Horizon 2020 projects, which iBRoad2EPC joined already prior to its official start in September 2021.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With a physical meeting in Barcelona on 22&amp;23 September 2022, the iBRoad2EPC consortium, coordinated by Sympraxis, celebrated the project\u2019s 1st birthday.
