The training highlighted the fundamental shift from the traditional Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to ESG as an essential mechanism for managing business risk and strengthening financial resilience. It became clear that the climate crisis, water scarcity, biodiversity loss and the energy demands of new technologies are now direct business and economic risks for the productivity, value chain and capital cost of every modern organization. At the same time, through an overview of the European regulatory framework and good market practices, the European Union’s shift from general declarations to the requirement for documented data was highlighted, with a focus on the eco-design of products, circularity of packaging and digital transparency. Finally, the presentation focused on corporate credibility and the need to avoid any form of greenwashing, as public opinion, investors and the younger generations of employees expect honesty, transparency and measurable data. Sympraxis concluded the training by highlighting the principles of Authentic ESG Storytelling and Stakeholder Engagement, and by underlining that meaningful dialogue with stakeholders can transform data and sustainability indicators into real business and social value.

Sympraxis conducted a specialized training for the Sustainability Team of Papastratos –a Philip Morris International company– with the title “ESG & Sustainability in Transition: The New Framework & Papastratos’ presence in a renewed institutional framework”.
