{"id":10050,"date":"2025-05-30T11:39:47","date_gmt":"2025-05-30T08:39:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sympraxis.eu\/cms\/?p=10050"},"modified":"2025-08-05T11:42:08","modified_gmt":"2025-08-05T08:42:08","slug":"pedvolution-and-open-lab-joint-presence-at-c4e-forum-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sympraxis.eu\/cms\/pedvolution-and-open-lab-joint-presence-at-c4e-forum-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"PEDvolution AND oPEN Lab JOINT PRESENCE AT C4E FORUM 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On May 21-22, during the Knowledge Hub <a href=\"https:\/\/c4eforum.net\/poster-session-2025\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Poster and Pitch Sessions<\/a> at the C4E Forum 2025 hosted in Cavtat, Croatia, Alexander Deliyannis from Sympraxis jointly presented the <a href=\"https:\/\/pedvolution.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PEDvolution<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/openlab-project.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">oPEN Lab<\/a> projects\u2019 <em>\u201cMulti-Level Innovation in Positive Energy Neighbourhoods and Districts\u201d. <\/em>The presentation highlighted how Positive Energy Districts<strong> (<\/strong>PEDs) and Positive Energy Neighbourhoods (PENs) can contribute to Europe\u2019s clean energy transition through the development and integration of interoperable, digital, and scalable solutions. oPEN Lab\u2019s part focused on technically and socially innovative activities already undertaken in the context of the oPEN Living Lab of Tartu, Estonia, including local policy dialogue, Renovation as a Service (RaaS), a heat storage facility and the testing of prefabricated fa\u00e7ade panels. PEDvolution\u2019s part focused on the <a href=\"https:\/\/pedvolution.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Slovenian co-demonstrator in Kranj<\/a> where the project\u2019s solutions will be co-developed and applied. A key element was PEDvolution\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/info\/funding-tenders\/opportunities\/portal\/screen\/opportunities\/competitive-calls-cs\/10741?order=DESC&amp;pageNumber=1&amp;pageSize=50&amp;sortBy=startDate&amp;isExactMatch=true&amp;type=8&amp;status=31094501&amp;programmePeriod=2021%20-%202027&amp;frameworkProgramme=43108390\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Open Call for PED demonstrators<\/a><strong>, <\/strong>which invited entities across Europe to pilot the project\u2019s tools and approaches. Now closed, the call sparked active interest among stakeholders at the forum, reflecting the relevance of PEDvolution\u2019s vision and objectives. Overall, discussions underpinned the value of cross-project collaboration, experimentation, and open innovation in accelerating the deployment of Positive Energy Districts and Neighbourhoods across Europe.
