Senior Sustainability Consultant

Elli, as an economist and business consultant, focuses her career on designing and managing projects which have a positive environmental or social impact. She specialises in drafting feasibility studies for “green business” investments and projects, and also in designing and managing environmental and social projects funded by EU Programmes (such as IEE, EQUAL, Life, ERASMUS+ and EEA Grands) and private Foundations (such as the SNF and the Open Society Foundations). Her experience includes projects such as the “Planning and implementation of an integrated Waste Management & Recycling System for office building of OTE/Cosmote Group” and the organisation of Conferences on behalf of the Municipality of Piraeus, INIVE (International Network for Information on Ventilation and Energy Performance – EEIG) and the Greek Ministry for the Environment. She undertook the financial management of projects funded under various national and EU funding instruments, such as IEE, Equal, and Youth in Action Programmes. Her track record in proposal writing includes a Conference for Secondary School Students’ Rights («Open your eyes – learn your rights» Conference, the Creative Team “The Schooligans”), the «National Meeting of Young Wildlife Correspondents» for ANIMA – Association for the Protection and Welfare of Wildlife, as well as the design and implementation of a public information campaign for the project “ADAMANTIADA” (“ENAMELATHON”), regarding the provision of primary dental care towards children in Athens (Médecins du Monde / Doctors of the World, Greek section).
Elli holds a Bachelor in Business Administration and Management from the Athens University of Economics and Business, and is a certified Auditor for the ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 9001:2015 Management Systems. She has participated in Sympraxis Team since its early days. In her free time, she manages to balance the rather technocratic nature of the work by playing LEGO with her son and attending modern singing lessons.
