On October 19, the Economic Chamber of Greece (ECG), Regional Department of Eastern Crete (RDEC) and the Region of Crete organised a successful event on “Youth Entrepreneurship: The Strategy of Smart Specialisation in the Region of Crete, Business Opportunities and Financial Tools”. The event was attended by representatives of the Region of Crete, as well as business and local authorities. Alexander Deliyannis, Director Sustainability Consulting & Implementation at Sympraxis Team, presented the topic “Environment and Energy: Sustainable Business Opportunities to Critical Contemporary Challenges”. The event took place at the Galaxy Hotel in Heraklion, Crete, within the framework of the first Job Days ECG/RDEC, co-organised by the Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and the Region of Crete, in collaboration with Skywalker.gr, on October 18 and 19. The main purpose of the two-day event was the information, empowerment and networking of young people seeking job opportunities or planning to make their next professional step. At the same time, the event’s strategic goal is to establish itself as an institution further promoting the labour market and youth entrepreneurship in Crete.
