Graphic Designer

Michalis is an experienced graphic designer and expert user of Office, Scribus, CorelDRAW, Adobe (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premier, Audition). Since the beginning of his career, in 1998, he has delivered a number of complex projects such as corporate identities, books’ layout, educational and promotional material, event posters, leaflets etc. in Indo-European languages for private companies, NGOs, European Commission and publishing houses. His key skills include communication material design, idea generation, visual storytelling, book design, typographic design, branding, and collage. His portfolio includes works for VILLAGE Cinemas, Odeon Cinemas, Coca Cola 3E and Patakis Publishing House.

For six (6) continuous years he worked as Art Director at “art spot” company and cooperated mostly with “Elliniki Theamaton” designing theatre sets and performances like “Two Crazy Producers” and “To Live or not to Live”; both won the prize of “best set award” of ATHINORAMA magazine for the year they were on stage. He also takes part as assistant scenographer at various serials and ads on TV. He was also a production manager and print on big scale concerts like “Roger Waters – The Wall”, AC/DC, Madonna, Red Hot Chilli Pappers, U2, Bob Dylan, Rock Wave 2007 – 2013 and many more. As Art Director, he did lots of art exhibitions of great painters like “Mytaras”, “Tsoklis” “Fidaki” etc. He has great experience at creation and adaptation of models for outdoor ads, for example, for metro and bus stations, signs, buses and cars. At his free time he enjoys playing tennis, painting, music composition, and video editing.
