56 out of 59 young people out of work were intensively trained in modern and market-oriented programming languages, were strengthened in their personal skills and found stable and well paid jobs related to programming in 31 major companies in Greece. These impressive results of the Journey2Jobs project were presented at the Public store at Syntagma square on 9 November 2017, thus completing the first cycle of a successful programme to boost youth employability. At the event, the rapporteurs were successful entrepreneurs such as Mr. Vyron Nikolaidis, Founder, President and Managing Director of the PeopleCert Group, and President of the Council of European Professional Informatics Societies (CEPIS), as well as major market executives such as Mr. Konstantinos Zanetopoulos, Senior Manager and Head of the Corporate Social Responsibility actions of Accenture.
