Three (3) dialogue days for the EuroAsia Interconnector project were organised and coordinated by Sympraxis Team. EuroAsia Interconnector is a European Project of Common Interest (PCI), which is co-funded by the European Union through the “Connecting Europe Facility” and concerns the interconnection of the electricity grids of Israel, Cyprus and Greece (Crete – Attica) with the European electricity grid. Representatives of the State, Regional Administration and Local Government, as well as representatives of stakeholders (Communities, Associations, etc.) participated in the dialogue days that took place in February at Heraklion (Crete) and Elefsis (Attica) and in April at Nicosia (Cyprus), where the project, the benefits of its implementation and its environmental dimension were presented in detail.
