On 17 January 2020, an important conference regarding the innovative water purification and recycling technologies was realised by the Benaki Phytopathological Institute (BPI). In the conference, which was attended by Kostis Chatzidakis, Minister for the Environment and Energy, as well as by many executives of public and private bodies, the LIFE PureAgroH2O programme was presented. The programme aims at the development of an innovative system for the management and recycle-reuse of water, which is autonomous in terms of energy. The aim of the conference was to highlight the potential for the utilisation of the programme’s outcomes by the wider sector of agro-industry, food industry, as well as by stakeholders active in the fields of water management and circular economy. Sympraxis Team supported the conference’s organisation, and has undertaken the elaboration of a Study depicting the programme’s socio-economic impact.
