A new contract was signed on 1 May 2018 between the European Commission’s Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME) and the 28 EU MS plus Norway for the continuation of the Concerted Action for the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (CA EPBD). The Management Team kick-off meeting of CA EPBD’s fifth contracting period coincided with the publication, in the Official Journal of the European Union of the EPBD review, of Directive 2018/844 amending Directive 2010/31/EU on the energy performance of buildings and Directive 2012/27/EU on energy efficiency. This represents the first major step towards the implementation of the Energy Union’s Clean Energy for all Europeans Package. The CA EPBD has been running since 2005 and Sympraxis Team is honoured to be supporting it for the third consecutive implementation period since 2011, contributing to the success of its communication and dissemination activities.
